About Us
Founded in 2022 by writer and director Courtney Lochner and director and producer Daniel Tomei, the duo travel the globe to capture blended tales about humans and mother nature. They believe stories are like seeds and utilize filmmaking to help their seeds grow. But stories, like seeds, don’t end in one cycle, they blossom, evolve — inspire. As Carl Sagan famously said, “we are made of star stuff”, and so too are our stories.

Our Team
Courtney
Courtney is an award-winning writer and journalist who has lived in five countries but still loves her Wisconsin heritage. Since she was a child, she dreamt of her novels becoming movies, and in 2005 saw her dream realized when she won Glamour Magazine’s writing contest. Moxie Pictures produced her story, Good Morning Baby, starring Piper Perabo and directed by Lisa Leone. With 20 years’ experience writing travel features, commercial copy, non-fiction books and articles, she feels most alive when writing and directing human narratives.
Daniel
Daniel is an award-winning filmmaker and photographer with a genuine love for storytelling that changes minds, positively impacts communities, inspires equality, and promotes evidence-based ideas and concepts.With 25 years in the television, radio, and film industry, he’s worked as a director of photography for Celeb TV and produced branded content for a plethora of Fortune 500 companies, and educational media for medical healthcare systems and universities. Daniel is happiest when producing the worlds’ tales worth telling.
